Terms of Service

Crisp Mini is not taking commissions at this time. - 9/13/2014

Crisp Mini provides specialized and custom service, requiring us to have strict policies.

Projects require a 25% deposit upon starting.  This is a commitment by you to see the project through.

There are no cash refunds, except at the discretion of Crisp Mini.  It is possible to re-work a project, or possibly give store credit, but again this is at the discretion of Crisp Mini.

All sales to clients outside the United States are final.  We are happy to take additional photos and make further alterations to your satisfaction before shipping, but once a project reaches customs there are no returns.  *This does not mean we will not try to work with you, it just means we are not technically required to and will do so at our own discretion.

This is our Terms of Service.

Getting a Quote

If you would like a quote, please email crispminipainting@gmail.com with a list of what you would like painted.

The more details the better!

Details include:

Are we acquiring the models, or are you sending us the models?

Will we be assembling them? If so, please know that costs could incur if models arrive in pieces and require us to reassemble them.

Do you want gun barrels drilled?

Should certain things be magnetized?

What tier would you like them painted to?  See out Painting Guide.

Communication

Please send any questions or concerns to crispminipainting@gmail.com.  The more communication there is, the better we may accommodate you.  You are also welcome to call us with any questions and concerns, although email is preferred for lists and details.

Acquiring the Models

If you supply the models, this will be reflected in your quoted proposal bid.

If you clean and assemble the models, this will also be reflected in your quoted proposal bid.

***We are happy to do minor repairs on preassembled models, but if your model comes in pieces a cost will incur to reassemble them.

We can purchase models for you and we do our best to buy them at the best rate.  We only purchase Forgeworld directly from Forgeworld. The prices of the miniatures will be reflected in your quoted proposal bid.

Project Flow

Projects are completed on a first come, first served, until completion.  Your quoted proposal bid will detail the length of the line prior to your initial deposit.  Once we receive a deposit, you will be added to the queue.

***While we wait for materials for project #1, we will begin project #2 and go back to project #1 as soon as materials arrive.

Once the project is complete, we will photograph the project, put them on our blog and send you a link to the photos.  At this point, you can request additional photos or alterations to the project.  Alterations may incur additional costs, of which you will be notified of before we begin.  Minor changes will be free at the discretion of Crisp Mini.

Once satisfied, you will make your final payment.  You may also send any additional instructions for shipping at this time.

Once the completion email has been sent, you have 30 days to make your final payment.  After 30 days, the project is forfeit and becomes the property of Crisp Mini. We can be accommodating to unusual circumstances as long as communication has been maintained. Any extension of the 30 day period is at the discretion of Crisp Mini.

If you supplied the models we'll refund 50% of the retail cost, or replace the models at our discretion.  This does NOT include shipping the models back to you.

Payment

We prefer payment through Paypal, but will accept money orders and checks.  Paypal accounts can easily be set up at paypal.com

If you send a money order or check, we will send an email confirmation once it is received.

Money Orders and Checks should be made out to Christopher Loomis.

Once payment has cleared, the models will be shipped, and you will again receive email confirmation of this.

Liability

We are only liable for the models while in our care.  Once they are shipped via USPS or DHL Crisp Mini cannot be held liable.

Disclaimers and Warnings

We sometimes use magnets in our products. These are purchased from another company and here follows their WARNING. These are very powerful and could be dangerous if not handled with proper care. Do not bring within 12 inches of any magnetic based storage devices such as desktop or laptop computers, hard drives, floppy disks, cassette tapes, VHS tapes, or credit cards. Keep away from computer monitors, VCRs and TVs. If you or someone in your household has a pacemaker please ask your doctor about possible risks before purchasing. Do not let these magnets snap together with their full force or they will break and quite possibly send small pieces of metal flying in all directions. Do not attempt to machine or drill these magnets– high temperatures during these processes could cause the magnets to ignite releasing toxic fumes. Do not heat the magnets to above 175F (80C) as this will cause them to lose all of their magnetic properties. It is advisable to wear protective gloves and goggles when handling these magnets. Large magnets can pinch very hard. Do not allow magnets to come together fast or between your skin as they can draw blood, or possibly even break bones. Do not swallow the magnets or attached parts. Keep away from children and pets.

Onerous Shipping: we reserve the right to cancel an order (with a refund of course) if the shipping to a foreign country turns out to be an onerous or unusually high amount.
